Due to a broad interest base, I have accumulated practical experience in multiple fields. After completing my undergraduate studies in social work at Texas Christian University, I completed graduate work in divinity and theology. I then transitioned to a second graduate program, professional counseling, with an educational focus on marriage and family therapy. These experiences have equipped me to conduct therapy with individualistic, systemic, and holistic sensibilities, and to do so with a faith-based perspective, if doing so suits my clients.--my client's goals and preferences are central to my process.

I approach the counseling dynamic from a perspective of finding and leveraging meaning, purpose, and fulfillment for all areas of life. This includes not only how we view and experience ourselves, but also our interactions with family, friends, and co-workers, and other relationships. To do so, I utilize an eclectic mix of CBT, Adlerian, and Rogerian therapy. My areas of practice expertise include childrenadolescents (particularly those who have experienced trauma and manifest significant behavioral issues), addiction, spiritual abuse, couplesrelationships, pre-marital counseling, and general counseling, including anxiety and depression.
