My Approach to Helping
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples that struggle with life transitions, childhood trauma, disordered eating movement, and negative body image. In a healing pandemic, it can be stressful to think about seeing people again and coping with negative thoughts about your body or worrying about others' judgments. You are probably feeling down, overwhelmed, and exhausted from the continuous anxiety.
I aim to help clients identify their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and the underlying trauma that contributed to the present problem. I empower clients to reshape their relationship to themself and their bodies to help them live more aligned to their values. I work from a trauma-informed perspective and integrate evidence-based therapy based on your needs.
I am here as a collaborator to challenge and support you along this journey of processing and removing obstacles in order to build effective strategies that will help you move forward. I offer talk and walk therapy as well. My purpose is to serve your best interest and empower you; the first step is to contact me for a free phone consultation.
