My Approach to Helping
My name is Jessica Sanchez and I am a bilingual (Spanish speaking) Licensed Professional Counselor and Chemical Dependency Counselor. With over 16 years of experience in the field, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of populations that include substance abuse residential and outpatient facilities, adult and juvenile incarceration institutions, psychiatric inpatient hospitals, and outpatient mental health treatment programs .
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University in 2004 and became a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in 2008. In 2016, I graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and recently obtained my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Currently, I am in the process of completing my PhD. in Clinical Psychology at Walden University.
I strongly believe that the way we think and feel can greatly influence not only our interactions with others but our physical health as well. I am committed to providing quality guidance, education, and care to assist you in becoming the best "you" that you can be.
