My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of experience in the mental health, and child welfare world. I offer support with a wide range of mental health and life issues such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADD/ADHD, grief/loss among others. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Child Development from California State University, Northridge and a Master’s degrees in Social Work from California State University, Bakersfield.
I believe that it is important to find a therapist that is a good fit for you. There are many wonderful therapists, but it is important for you to feel that you are understood. It is essential to me to build a strong therapeutic relationship with you, one that feels comfortable and free from judgment. Therapy is an opportunity for self-exploration, healing, and learning new skills and strategies to address the issues that are getting in your way. Taking care of your mental health is as important as your physical health.
I have worked with all ages, from early childhood to the aged adults. Therapeutically, I practice modalities that are in alignment with client needs, which include, but not limited to strengths-based, solution-focused, mindfulness and cognitive behavior therapy. I look forward to helping you find strength, healing and happiness.
