My Approach to Helping
I have over two decades of experience in therapy and research, working with adolescents and adults to collaboratively resolve a wide range of issues. I believe the decision to seek help is a powerful early step in overcoming one’s difficulties. I offer my clients a safe space to talk, explore and unpack underlying factors contributing to their issues, identify goals for change, and work towards that change. My approach to helping clients is defined by their needs and expectations. Therapy is a collaborative process between the client and the therapist, and while commitment on the part of the client is critical for progress, it must be matched with commitment on the part of the therapist, and I ensure I offer this to every client.
